The Kit Cube System allow you to subdivide your gear into kits that make sense to you and suit the way you do adventure. Three different sizes allow you to choose the right size Cube for the items you want kept together. The thick, heavy-duty PVC window on top and the labelled handles on the sides allows you to see the contents of each Cube and easily locate what you are actually looking for. This has been the most appreciated feature by early adopters of the Kit Cube System™. 

The Kit Cube System™ is designed to be used in all types of rugged outdoor environments and on adventures where dust, dirt, water and abrasion are just a part of life and often unavoidable. The cubes are made from heavy-duty, water-resistant 600 Denier Poly fabric with polyurethane coating, a thick, high-quality PVC window as well as oversized zippers with tabbed pulls for easy use with a gloved hand.

The Kit Cube System™ is flexible and can flow around irregularities in the storage space if necessary unlike a hard case. Storage spaces on motorcycles, boats and 4WD's tend to be small and lack uniformity. Some spaces are not very accessible but are great for storing gear that may only be used in an emergency. Larger spaces need to be subdivided to maintain packing efficiency and utility.

Notice that each dimension of any of the three Cube sizes is a multiple of the others. That’s what makes the Kit Cube System work the way it does. All cubes are (3.25”) 8.25cm thick, two Cubes stacked adds up to (6.5”) 16.5cm which is the width of the Small and Medium Cubes, these can be turned sideways to stack along side of the two layers and fill in additional space. Two smalls is the same footprint as a medium, four smalls is the same footprint as a large and so on, the combinations are limitless. 

An additional bonus feature is that the dimensions of the Cubes also work well with your typical backpack and regulation size carry-on luggage for air travel. This allows effortless transition between modes of travel and storage. For example, transfering your gear from a motorcycle pannier to backpack or vise versa now takes a fraction of the time without the need to reorganise and repack.

Body:  600x600 Denier Polyester with a Polyurethane coating on the inside for water resistance. This material was chosen for its high resistance to abrasion and durability. It is fast drying and resists mould, mildew, soil, and stains. This material is also very tear resistant, if something manages to punch through the fabric the tear will not continue to expand. This material is used on many of the big brand backpacks and luggage.

PVC Window:  We use a high grade PVC material that can withstand temperatures ranging from 180°F (82°C) down to 0°F (-18°C). The thickness is a robust 0.012” (0.3 mm).

Handles:  The handles are made from 1-inch (25 mm) wide nylon, sewn to the body with polyester thread, and reinforced on the inside.  These were tested by filling the cube with a brick and shaking as hard as possible without any tearing of the stitching or the fabric. The cubes also come with a clear velcro label that attaches the handles to allow easy identification of the contents when the cubes are packed and only the sides are visible. 

Zippers:  The zippers are oversized for extra strength and durability. The two-way head-to-head, coiled nylon zipper allows you to open either end of the lid for access to contents. The reliable metal slider and injection molded pull tabs allow easy actuation even with a gloved hand.

Seams:  These use strong polyester thread reinforced with plastic piping to protect the corners from abrasion. The seams are covered on the inside for appearance and additional strength.

Overall:  The cubes are washable. Just blast them with a hose or throw them in a washing machine and hang them out to dry for a quick freshen up if they accumulate dirt from a particularly filthy adventure.
